Me again.

I’m here to persuade you that another trendy, flavor-packed bottle of liquor is worth buying. S’moretini shooters — seriously, let’s make them a thing.
You might be wondering: does marshmallow vodka really taste that different from whipped cream vodka or cake batter vodka (yes, the kind you bought to make a cake martini for breakfast)? Maybe not drastically. I can’t claim the most refined tasting abilities, but I grabbed a bottle anyway for, you know, quality control.

Our liquor cabinet is a sight to behold — or maybe you don’t want to see it.
Blame my mom. She saw s’mores martinis in a magazine and insisted I make them for the blog. She was serious about it.
Don’t mind the fingerprints in the photos — I’m not big on holding things perfectly.

I like my marshmallows charred. How about you?

I roast them until they’re flaming — perfect for impatient people who want gooey, toasty marshmallow right away.
Honestly, I don’t think the world can invent a vodka flavor I’ll immediately run out to buy and regret. Maybe cheesecake vodka is next, but I’ll pass. (Right.)

The great news: you can make these ahead of time and keep them in the fridge. Toast the marshmallows beforehand if you don’t mind them room temperature instead of piping hot. Right before serving, top each shooter with a skewered marshmallow and you’re ready — people go nuts for these.
For anyone who doesn’t drink alcohol, is avoiding it, or is underage: make virgin versions with chocolate fudge on the bottom, chocolate milk (or whipped chocolate milk with marshmallow fluff) and toasted marshmallow skewers. They’re just as fun.
You. Me. S’mores shooters. This weekend. Let’s do it.

Ingredients
- 1/2 ounce marshmallow vodka, or vanilla, whipped cream or cake flavored vodka
- 1/2 ounce Godiva chocolate liqueur
- 1/4 ounce Bailey’s Irish Cream liqueur
- 3/4 ounce cream/half and half
- chocolate syrup or hot fudge
- graham cracker crumbs
- vanilla frosting for glass rimming
- mini marshmallows
Instructions
-
Dip the rim of your glass in a little frosting, then press into graham cracker crumbs. Add about 1/2 teaspoon of chocolate fudge to the bottom of the glass. Combine the vodka, Baileys, Godiva and cream in a shaker (or a sealed bottle) with ice and shake for about 15 seconds. Strain into the glass and garnish with mini marshmallows skewered on a toothpick.
-
To make 8 shooters or 2 martinis: use 4 ounces marshmallow vodka, 4 ounces Godiva chocolate liqueur, 2 ounces Bailey’s and about 6 ounces milk or cream. Adjust amounts to taste.
-
If you don’t have frosting for rimming glasses, something sticky like maple syrup or agave works well as a substitute.

I’m about to take up residence in that glass.
