The most festive pomegranate smash is making me ridiculously happy.

If you love pomegranate juice, this cocktail is made for you. Tart pomegranate balanced with a touch of maple syrup, a splash of vodka for body, and a sparkling finish from prosecco. The drink is bright, bubbly and festive without feeling heavy.
All topped with prosecco bubbles — it’s sparkly, pretty and perfect for holiday gatherings. I could easily sip this nonstop through the season.

This cocktail is refreshing rather than warming. Many fall drinks rely on spiced or bourbon-forward flavors that feel hearty and cozy; this one still says autumn without weighing you down. It’s light enough to enjoy year-round while pairing beautifully with seasonal meals.

The rosemary sprig makes a lovely garnish — aromatic and visually seasonal. Pomegranate arils add jewel-like color and a little pop of texture so every sip feels special.

I have a long list of favorite Thanksgiving and holiday cocktails. Classics like traditional apple cider sangria and Thanksgiving punch are crowd-pleasers, while non-alcoholic options such as cranberry cider punch or a sparkling pomegranate punch work well for family-friendly gatherings. Other seasonal favorites include honeycrisp-based drinks, cranberry-orange blends, and playful twists like a pumpkin pie bourbon smash. There are so many solid choices that deciding can be fun and a little overwhelming.

What are you serving this year? I’m always curious to hear people’s cocktail plans — whether you’re sticking to a classic, offering a variety of options for guests, or trying something new.
