Snickerdoodle Peach Milkshake Recipe for Summer Sips

I’ve never been much of a milkshake person.

I prefer to eat my calories rather than drink them, especially when it comes to dessert.

That said, I used to adore the hot fudge milkshake at Dairy Queen — have you tried it? It’s incredible.

Ordinary milkshakes rarely excite me.

Then I spotted this recipe in the latest issue of Bon Appétit.

When that magazine arrives I eagerly flip through every page.

It always makes me hungry.

I end up snacking on cookies, pita chips, or whatever is nearby while daydreaming about recreating each dish.

That magazine definitely inspires indulgence.

Now I’m rethinking my attitude toward milkshakes.

This one was absolutely delicious.

Even better, the peaches were perfectly juicy and ripe. I’m a big fan of sweet peaches.

I almost wish I’d added a second peach.

You really only need one cookie for the shake, but I bought two so I could eat one on its own.

Totally worth it.

I could definitely have one of these for breakfast.

It’s Monday, so that’s my excuse — though I hardly need one.
