Hello summer Friday! xo
EATING
My bircher muesli is a favorite breakfast that works well as the seasons shift. I’m still making my tomato galette on repeat, and these cherry cheesecake cobbler bars are a must for dessert.
DRINKING
I’ve been enjoying margarita floats lately, and watermelon palomas are perfect for warm afternoons.
MAKING
We’ve been making pesto meatball melts for quick weeknight dinners, and a warm dish of summer berry cobbler is always welcome.
BAKING
A batch of granola scones is great for mornings. I’m also baking bursting blueberry muffins, and sometimes a blueberry peach coffee cake makes an appearance.
CRAVING
Heirloom tomato toast with whipped feta is my current craving. I’m also reaching for crunchy buffalo chicken wraps when I want something satisfying.
GRILLING
Grilled hot honey chicken served with a sweet corn salad has been the standout — simple, sweet, and smoky.
LISTENING
I’ve been playing a slow mornings playlist as we get ready for the school year; it’s calming and sets the tone for the day. I’m also loving the soundtrack from The Summer I Turned Pretty for easy, nostalgic vibes.
READING
I started You With a View this week and am really enjoying it. If you’re looking for more options, my summer reading list has more recommendations to explore.
LOVING
I’m obsessed with the Beach Reads & Bubbly Instagram account — her recommendations and stories feel like the perfect companion to summer reading.
WEARING
I’ve practically lived in my nap dresses for years, and Hill House’s new pre-fall collection has some pieces I adore. There are so many great dresses with sleeves, and I’ve also been reaching for a cropped loose tee for easy summer style.
SHOPPING
New favorite jacket alert: I love a green lulu jacket for cooler fall days and know I’ll be wearing it nonstop come September. A mini Bluetooth label maker has also been a surprising back-to-school lifesaver — I’ve labeled everything with it so far.
CELEBRATING
We’re approaching the end of summer break and I’m making a list of special ways to celebrate the kids’ last few days. If you’re getting ready for back to school too, I’ve gathered some favorite items to help with the transition.
