Happy Saturday! I’m back from a short break in this “crushing on” series — I took some time off last week to enjoy a little vacation. This trip also marks the end of nonstop travel for me since March. I haven’t been home for more than ten days at a stretch since then, so I’m thrilled to be settling in for a bit.

I’ll share a photo diary recap of the trip tomorrow, and in a few days I’ll post my July favorites. Also, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still happening and I’ve shared some of my top picks. Long live summer!

Favorites this week

There’s nothing better than a perfect BLT — crisp bacon, ripe tomato, and crunchy lettuce layered on toasted bread make such a simple, unbeatable sandwich.

I’m really into a bright avocado-chimichurri sauce this season; it’s fresh, herby, and great with grilled vegetables or fish.

Craving peanut butter rice krispy treats — nostalgic, sweet, and perfectly chewy.

Roasted red pepper pasta salad with tomatoes, basil, and walnuts is a delicious, vibrant side for warm-weather meals.

Zucchini carbonara is surprisingly satisfying — a lighter take on a classic that still feels indulgent.

Grilled zucchini with browned butter and breadcrumbs is an easy, elevated vegetable side that’s become a favorite of mine.

Rainbow rosé poptails are adorable and refreshing — ideal for summer gatherings.

Summer garden flower arrangements can transform a table; they’re an effortless way to bring seasonal beauty indoors.

Mini blueberry mousse cakes with mirror glaze are so pretty and perfect for entertaining when you want individual desserts that look special.

Green goddess potato salad gives a classic side a fresh, herb-forward twist that’s both creamy and bright.

Flourless chocolate chunk almond butter cookie bars are a must-bake when you want a rich, gluten-free treat with an indulgent texture.

And let’s all grill cinnamon pineapple — a simple, smoky-sweet dessert or cocktail garnish that tastes like summer.
