Exciting news!

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been hard at work on my third cookbook.
And I think it’s going to be something special.
Your support for The Pretty Dish has been incredible. Cooking through that book with so many of you has been a joy, and your enthusiasm has pushed me to keep going. If you own the book and haven’t joined The Pretty Dish Book Club yet, you should — it’s been such a fun way to connect and cook together.
At first I worried I couldn’t top The Pretty Dish — I adore that book — but so many of you asked for another collection from day one. I set out to create a book we can use every single day.
Enter: Every Day Dinners. EVERY.DAY.DINNERS. This book focuses on the meals that bring people together — the dinner around which friends and family gather. Those nightly dinners shaped me as a cook and as a person; the ritual of sitting around the table meant so much to my family. I also know weeknight dinner can be stressful, so this book aims to change that.
And yes, I need options — lots of them. I get bored easily and want a wide range of dinners to rotate through.

Here’s a preview of what this book will include:
– All the dinners. Think 100 approachable dinner recipes designed to make weeknights feel fun instead of frantic.
– Weekly menus that actually make sense. Diverse enough to be enjoyable, simple enough so you aren’t spending hours in the kitchen, and practical for busy lives. These menus are built to complement each recipe and to fit into your week with minimal stress.
– My secret weapon: the 10-minute meal prep. A few short steps taken a few times a week have dramatically improved our dinner routine. These quick prep habits make weeknights easier, healthier and low-fuss — a far better solution than spending an entire Sunday prepping meals you’re already tired of by midweek.
– Leftover solutions. I’ll show you how to turn dinners you love into lunches that actually work, so you’re not stuck with meals that don’t translate well the next day.
– A cohesive system. Everything in the book is designed to work together so you can assemble menus easily, or use recipes on their own and add your personal twists.

I’m so excited about these recipes — they are really good, and the hardest part is keeping them under wraps until the release. The cookbook will be published in spring 2021, and I promise it will be worth the wait.

You can follow along on social media for sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes updates as I work on the book. I’ll share progress and previews so you can see what’s coming.
Most of all, thank you. None of these cookbooks would exist without your support. It means the world to me that you visit the site, try recipes, and share in this passion. I’m so grateful for every one of you.
xoxo
