Happy 4th of July weekend!
This week on the blog I shared a delicious grilled spatchcock chicken with cola BBQ sauce that we can’t get enough of. I also posted a bright summer stone fruit salad with basil vinaigrette, fresh summer salmon tacos, and a festive triple berry trifle with raspberry sauce — perfect for holiday entertaining.
There’s a new Summer Fridays roundup, a fresh weekly menu to simplify your dinners, and a peek into a week in the life on the blog as well.
My June favorites are up, too — lots of seasonal finds and things I’m loving this month.
You can order a copy of Everyday Dinners now. If you have the book, consider joining the Everyday Dinners Cookbook Club on Facebook. The club has been going strong since The Pretty Dish launched in 2018 and it’s a fun place to share what you’ve made. I’m loving seeing your creations on Instagram and in the cookbook club.
Have a wonderful one!

Orange honey BBQ wings that balance sweet and savory beautifully.
Velveeta mac and cheese for pure, nostalgic comfort.
Blueberry, strawberry and jicama salsa — colorful, crunchy and festive.
Watermelon wine slushie for an icy, fruity cocktail on hot days.
Cubano burgers with layers of pickles, mustard and melty cheese.
Peach cobbler — it’s officially peach season and time to bake.
Mushroom wild rice pilaf as an earthy, satisfying side dish.
Bourbon brown sugar ice cream for a boozy, caramel-forward treat.
Bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers for a spicy, smoky snack.
Herbed goat cheese spread — bright, garlicky, and great with crackers or crudités.
