This was a really good week — honestly, a great week. It was busy, but in the best way. I keep wanting to say that I want to Snapchat my boring work life all week, but I never remember to pause and snap while I’m actually working. Apparently I’m an elderly person who forgets to document everyday moments.
Are you following along on Pinterest where I pin all the glitter, neon, pretty homes and whatever else is trending? I’m also on Instagram — it’s my favorite. If you make any recipes, tag them with #howsweeteats so I can see what you’ve made.
What are you doing this weekend? We might finally hang pictures in the house one year after moving in. Or we might continue living like college students with empty walls. Time will tell.
P.S. Last night a bug flew down my shirt while I was in the car late at night and I thought my life was over. I still can’t deal with it.
Here are some things I loved this week — check them out!
I know I mentioned sharing a northern Michigan guide, but posts like this make that feel unnecessary — they capture everything so well and make me want to go back right away.
Three words that stopped me in my tracks: fresh piña colada. Is this real life?
Give me this cobb salad burger and my weekend is instantly made.
The world is a slightly better place thanks to cinnamon toast milk ice cream.
I’m dying to make these fresh kiwi coconut popsicles because they’re so cute.
My brain is overwhelmed by the idea of red hot chicken and fried cheese meatballs. I want them immediately.
Could these DIY patterned bowls be any cuter? I love the look, but I may lack the patience to actually make them.
Totally obsessed with this watermelon gazpacho with pistachios and basil oil — it’s one of the prettiest dishes I’ve seen.
A super-easy plum cake is exactly what I need right now — assuming there are still plums left to be eaten.
All bread looks better when it’s pink. Especially biscuits.
Peanut butter banana trail mix cookies? Yes, please.
We were planning regular peanut butter cookies today, but now I’m leaning toward chocolate chip cookie dough frosted brownies because, really, why not?
Anything you’re loving this week? The internet is full of brilliant things and I’m always excited to hear your favorites.
