Hello hello! How are you as we enter this final stretch of October? It feels wild to think about, but we’re doing great here. This past week I wrapped up the bulk of my work for 2017, which feels like a small miracle. I’m deep into final cookbook edits and have a few lingering tasks, but otherwise it’s incredible to think I’ll soon have some time to relax.

Last week I posted what will most likely be my last baby #2 update before the little one arrives. We’re on baby watch now but not rushing anything. I also updated my favorites in my SHOP, and later this week I’ll share some top picks for the Sephora VIB sale over on Crumbs — so stay tuned.

Some other recent projects:

I put together a cute DIY coffee cart and shared how I set it up over at Crate and Barrel — a fun alternative to the classic bar cart.

I also created a few pear recipes for Harry & David using their Royal Riviera pears that I’m excited about.

Here are the beautiful bites and inspiring ideas that caught my eye this week:

This savory butternut squash pie looks absolutely incredible.

I’m really into these masala chai chocolate chip cookies — such a cozy twist on a classic.

One-bowl mini pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes — yes, one bowl and yes, please!

An orange whiskey pâte de fruit that sounds sophisticated and delightful.

Adore this pink and orange fall tablescape — a lovely, unexpected palette for autumn.

A guide to hosting a fall charcuterie party—perfect for seasonal entertaining and totally my style.

I love the idea of pecan butternut squash bread for baking season.

Baileys coffee custard donuts — oh my, those look decadent.

Slow cooker buffalo chicken potatoes are such a smart, comforting idea for busy nights.

Apple, bacon, and rosemary pizza looks like an amazing savory-sweet combination.

Creamy butternut squash pasta with shredded Brussels sprouts, bacon, and raisins — yes, yes, yes to that flavor mix.

All of these recipes and ideas feel perfectly tuned to the season: cozy, savory, a little sweet, and great for sharing. I hope they inspire your fall cooking, baking, and entertaining as much as they inspired me.
