A chilled PB&J bar, sunshine, and a little rosé? That’s my ideal happy hour. These frozen bars are the kind of simple indulgence that feels special without much fuss.

So Delicious Oatmilk Frozen Dessert

I’m thrilled to be collaborating with So Delicious Dairy Free this year. I’ve long loved their creamers and plant milks, and their frozen desserts have been a staple—especially the coconutmilk flavors. The coconut macaroon and mocha almond fudge are personal favorites, and the mint chip is a hit at my house.

Recently I tried their new Oatmilk Frozen Desserts and was blown away. The texture is incredibly smooth and creamy—surprisingly so for a dairy-free pint. The Caramel Apple Crumble flavor is especially delicious, and the peanut butter & raspberry flavor is perfect for these PB&J bars.

I chose the peanut butter and raspberry oatmilk pint for this recipe because I’m a PB&J fan through and through. This flavor blends creamy peanut butter with black raspberry swirls, and the ripple is generous—no skimpy sauce here—so it makes a fantastic base for bars.

The bars are embarrassingly easy to make: scoop the oatmilk frozen dessert into a pan, freeze it into a solid block, slice it into bars, dip them in chocolate, and enjoy. Compared to my more involved ice cream bar recipes, these come together quickly and require minimal equipment.

They’re kid-friendly and convenient to stash in the freezer for warm days. I’m already planning a batch of mini bite-sized bars for the season ahead—perfect for snacking, treats after dinner, or poolside desserts.

The finishing touch is a chocolate coating and a peanut butter drizzle. Chocolate makes everything better, and it adds a nice contrast in texture to the creamy oatmilk interior. For a pretty touch, sprinkle crushed freeze-dried berries over the top before the coating sets.

Frozen Peanut Butter and Jelly Oatmilk Bars

Yield:
6 to 12 bars
Freezing Time:
10 hrs
Total Time:
12 hrs

Ingredients

  • 2 pints So Delicious Dairy Free Peanut Butter and Raspberry Oatmilk Frozen Dessert, slightly softened
  • 3 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • Optional: crushed freeze-dried berries for topping

Instructions

  • Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Scoop the oatmilk frozen dessert into the dish and spread it evenly with a spatula. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  • Lift the frozen block from the dish and place it on a cutting board. Quickly slice into bars or squares and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Return to the freezer for 2 hours until solid.
  • Make the chocolate coating: melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Let it cool for 10–15 minutes. Warm the peanut butter in a separate bowl until pourable.
  • Working quickly, dip each frozen bar into the chocolate, letting excess drip off. Place bars back on the baking sheet and drizzle with melted peanut butter. If desired, sprinkle crushed freeze-dried berries over the top before the coating sets.
  • Freeze the dipped bars for another hour before serving. Keep stored in an airtight container in the freezer.
