Currently Crushing On: Who I’m Loving Right Now

Web

Here are some of my favorite finds from around the web this week — recipes and ideas I can’t stop thinking about. Each one made my list because it’s delicious, inspiring, or just plain fun. Read on for a round-up of dishes and projects I’d happily try right now.

Smoky kale Caesar salad — I’ve been craving this all week. The idea of smoky flavors paired with crisp kale and a classic Caesar twist is irresistible.

Vanilla party cupcakes — light, unfussy, and exactly my vibe. Perfect for any celebration or just because.

Junior high nightmare cookies — these totally transport me back to the ’90s. Nostalgia in cookie form.

Vanilla almond cereal puffs — simple, crunchy, and dangerously snackable. I can already picture a big bowl with milk or as a crunchy topping.

Sweet tea–brined hot chicken wings — a brilliant mash-up of sweet and spicy. I want a plateful immediately.

French onion cheese bread — gooey, savory, and so cheesy. A must-try for any cheese lover.

Rainbow mini cakes — adorable and joyful. I’m sending a million heart emojis to these.

More irresistible things:

  • Milo ice cream cake — possibly the best dessert I’ve seen all week. Ice cream cake perfection.
  • Woodland fire Sichuan hummus — I’d happily dip a million pieces of bread into this smoky, spicy spread.
  • Easy pita lunch ideas — creative, fresh, and ideal for weekday lunches or light dinners.
  • Advil trick to clear up blemishes — surprising and intriguing. I’d love to know if it really works for others.
  • Paint color picks for 2014 — a lovely set of colors; great inspiration for updating a room.
  • Pulled pork habanero cornbread stacks — bold flavors and serious comfort food appeal.
  • DIY geometric himmeli wreath — crafty, modern, and something I’d actually try making.
  • Roasted sunchoke soup with caramelized shallots — cozy, rich, and perfect for chilly evenings.
  • Grapefruit curd–filled doughnuts — grapefruit and doughnuts: an obvious and excellent pairing.

These are some of the things I’m currently loving online. If you have favorites or recent discoveries, I’d love to hear them — leave a comment with what you’re into right now.
