
Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
This is one of my favorite weekends of the year — I look forward to it every season.
Are you doing anything special? My favorite tradition is attending a Memorial Day parade we’ve gone to for more than 30 years. Max is so excited to go this year!
On the blog this week I shared some of my go-to recipes and party ideas. I started with our favorite crispy smashed potato side dish, then posted an incredible grilled broccoli crunch salad that’s all about texture, plus crunchy, crispy baked pickles that are addicting. I also put together a huge hot dog bar, published my summer 2019 reading list, and shared the easiest no-cook appetizer: cantaloupe prosciutto caprese skewers.
I even made an IGTV video showing how to assemble a festive red, white, and blue party mix — perfect for Memorial Day or the 4th of July.
