Favorites I’m Loving Right Now: Top Picks & Recommendations

I have a 20-minute dinner to share with you, but today I wasn’t in the mood. It felt like too many vegetables and I didn’t want to post pictures of tomatoes. You know how it is—sometimes too many veggies make me cringe.

Instead, I want to share a roundup of the recipes and posts I bookmarked this week—things that will inevitably send me into a cooking frenzy and force me to buy new pants. It’s been too long since I did one of these!

Heather just posted brownie batter chocolate chip cookies. I swear she’s trying to kill me.

Andrea made whole wheat sour cream pancakes. Whole wheat pancakes? Yes please—three short stacks, please.

Caitlin wrote a thoughtful post about looking at the glass half full. Mine is usually half full… with wine.

Jenna’s carbonara for one is calling my name. I’ve wanted to make carbonara forever and this finally gives me the push to do it.

I’ll probably need to quadruple the recipe since I have a very hungry husband.

Some of my favorite bakers made a Meyer lemon pound cake. I’m new to liking lemon in dessert, but this one has me hooked—probably more for breakfast than dessert.

I’m envious of Rachel’s decorating skills, and relieved she doesn’t have framed WWF wrestler photos on her walls like someone I know.

Maria’s honey yogurt waffles sound insanely good. I don’t make waffles nearly enough; I’m thinking a batch of these is in my near future. Lately I’ve been a little obsessed with breakfast.

Dawn’s chocolate peanut butter bars with BBQ pretzels are making me swoon. I want every crazy combination she comes up with.

Gaby shared tips for throwing the best kid’s birthday party ever. Honestly, I want a party like that too—who says you have to be a kid to enjoy balloons and sparkles?

Megan made margarita mac and cheese. My favorite drink and my favorite comfort food combined? Add bacon and I’ll die a happy person.

Jen shared banana cream cheese muffins—these would vanish in seconds in my house.

Angie posted chocolate crepes with raspberries, perfect for Valentine’s Day or just a decadent breakfast tomorrow.

Karly, who loves bacon as much as I do, made Oreo-stuffed chocolate chip cookies. Dangerous and brilliant.

And I can’t forget that I made cake batter pancakes again—this time with whole wheat flour. Yes, I have a problem.

What recipe are you dying to make this weekend? Keep an eye out for the 20-minute dinner tomorrow—if you don’t like veggies, you can give it a pass. I’ll be covering my eyes while I post it.
