2020: A Complete Retrospective of the Year’s Biggest Moments

2020

Ugh, 2020.

It was not the year we expected. Even now it can be hard to fully take it in. I’m not sorry to see it end, but there are mixed feelings about everything it brought.

The silver lining was the extra time I spent with my little love nuggets. It sounds cliché, but life really did slow down for us. There were many days I felt like I wasn’t accomplishing much, yet I already know I’ll look back on those quieter days at home and treasure them. Honestly, I already do.

Thank you for spending time in this space every day. I’ve worked hard to keep this site authentic and personal. I don’t want it to become a faceless, robotic SEO food site where the author disappears. It means the world to me that you stop by, make my recipes, and chat. I hope this continues for years to come and that 2021 brings many brighter days.

xoxo

P.S. Most of these photos come from my “week in the life” posts, where I chronicled our days and weeks throughout the year. It was such a fun project that I plan to start again this Sunday—I love being able to look back on it.
