This has my name all over it.
I know I shared a big, indulgent drink with you yesterday, but before you judge, hear me out.
I couldn’t help it.
I teased you about this last week and couldn’t wait another day to post the recipe.
Here’s the deal: I try to develop recipes that are simple, easy, and made with ingredients you likely have on hand. This one doesn’t quite fit that goal, but sometimes it’s worth breaking the rules.
I don’t mind running to the store for special ingredients, but I didn’t want to buy a pricey bottle I’d use once a year. I already had most of the ingredients at home except for crème de cacao, which I bought for about $11.
I also searched several liquor stores for cake-flavored vodka. If you find it, consider yourself lucky — and maybe share a bottle?
I highly recommend buying whipped cream vodka if you can — because it’s whipped cream vodka, and that speaks for itself. The Godiva white chocolate liqueur brings a smooth, sweet white chocolate note that complements the other flavors perfectly.
Honestly, I didn’t expect to love this. I usually avoid heavy cream in cocktails, but this one changed my mind. It actually tastes like cake batter. I doubt I’d drink more than one in a sitting, but it’s a fun, once-in-a-while treat.

Ingredients
- 1 ounce amaretto
- 1 1/2 ounces Pinnacle whipped cream vodka
- 1 1/2 ounces crème de cacao
- 1/2 ounce Godiva white chocolate liqueur
- 1 ounce heavy cream
- assorted sprinkles, nonpareils work best
- frosting
Instructions
-
Coat the rim of your glass with frosting using your finger, making sure the rim is evenly covered. Pour sprinkles onto a plate and press the frosted rim into the sprinkles so they adhere. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds. Strain into the prepared glass and enjoy.

If you prefer not to buy specialty liqueurs, try a simpler version using vanilla vodka. It’s still tasty, though a bit less like cupcake batter.

Oh P.S. — don’t be surprised if your lips and tongue end up covered in sprinkles after you sip one. Totally worth it. No more drink recipes… until next weekend.
