Currently Crushing On: What I’m Loving Right Now and Why

currently crushing on

Hello hello! What day is it? The holiday break has me a little disoriented.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday—ate all the good food, watched your favorite shows, and took plenty of naps.

On the blog this week things were relaxed and cozy. In case you missed it, I rounded up 25 recipes perfect for the holiday break, and shared a fantastic roasted kabocha squash with pomegranate and pepita relish. Hot buttered bourbon closed out the week and it’s truly delicious.

I also posted my end-of-year beauty favorites and lifestyle favorites—little things that made the season nicer.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend! xo

What I’m loving this week:

This gingerbread greenhouse is one of the most impressive holiday projects I’ve seen.

Seared scallops with a white wine and shallot reduction—seriously craving these.

A copycat recipe for Cafe Rio sweet pork that I’m eager to try at home.

Basil and arugula pesto tossed with garlicky shrimp—simple and flavorful.

Cinnamon streusel French toast that’s perfect for a leisurely morning.

A super cheesy spinach lasagna that looks absolutely comforting.

Double-marble ornament cookies are going on my baking list for next year.

Butternut squash pasta that feels cozy and satisfying.

A small-batch sticky bun monkey bread—perfect for when you want something sweet without making too much.

Mini brie grilled cheeses that are elegant, easy, and indulgent.

Beer-and-pretzel chicken wings—an unexpected and fun flavor combo.

A graham cracker cream pie that sounds like the perfect no-fuss dessert.
