Happy weekend!
This week on the blog I stepped out of my comfort zone and made an incredible grilled whole branzino. If you haven’t tried it, it’s a must. I also grilled guacamole, made frozen peanut butter and jelly bars, riffed on crispy chicken with pimento cheese, and shared plenty of recipe ideas for the Kentucky Derby weekend. To top it off, we finished the week with a playful tres leches confetti cake.
What are your plans this weekend? Will you be sipping mint juleps and eating tacos like me? I’m also hoping to pick up some flowers and herbs and start planting—this time of year is my favorite.
P.S. If you’re shopping the Sephora sale this weekend, don’t forget to check out my April beauty favorites for spring and summer picks.
Hope you have a great one! xo
What I’m loving this week:
I’m obsessed with smoky carrot mezcal margaritas—such a fun twist.
Key lime pie babka: an unexpected and delightful combination.
Seared salmon with chipotle salsa sounds amazing and full of flavor.
Jalapeño corn coleslaw—bright, crunchy, and perfect for warm days.
Major cravings for a classic, creamy bean dip lately.
Cinnamon French toast that looks absolutely indulgent.
Delicate lemon and thyme shortbread cookies—so cute and elegant.
I’ll always love linguini with clams; it’s a timeless favorite.
Crispy baked chicken drumsticks—comfort food done right.
Red bean and rice burgers are such a creative, satisfying option.
Summer ranch panzanella salad—ripe tomatoes and crusty bread, yes please.
Pesto roasted vegetable breakfast burritos look like a perfect savory start.
Super easy, vibrant homemade salsa is always a winner.
Rhubarb mint margarita: a seasonal cocktail I’m eager to try.
