This is the easiest, most delicious way to make a Nutella latte at home.
Oh my.

After making one of these a few months ago, I wanted one every single morning.
Really — every morning.

I resisted the daily habit for a while — it felt like a slippery slope toward donuts and chocolate-covered snacks every afternoon. But with the holidays approaching, a Nutella latte might be the perfect little daily celebration throughout November and December.
Maybe brilliant. Maybe indulgent. Either way, it’s wonderful.

Honestly, this is embarrassingly simple.
- Place a scoop of Nutella in your mug.
- Pour hot espresso over it.
- Whisk until smooth and chocolatey.
- Fill the mug with steamed milk and foam.
- Sip and savor.

To elevate the drink, spread a little Nutella around the rim before pouring, and optionally finish with a light drizzle of balsamic glaze. If you enjoy a touch of tangy sweetness, the balsamic adds a surprising, delicious contrast. If not, double down on the Nutella — it’s still fantastic.

Nutella
plus extra for the rim -
1 to 2
shots hot espresso -
6 to 8
ounces
steamed milk - cocoa powder for sprinkling
- balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)
Instructions

Spread a thin layer of Nutella around the rim of a coffee mug if you like.

Place 1 to 2 tablespoons of Nutella in the bottom of the mug. Pour hot espresso over it and whisk or stir until the Nutella melts and the mixture is smooth. Slowly pour in steamed milk, top with a dusting of cocoa powder, and drizzle balsamic glaze on part of the rim if desired. Serve immediately.
