Happy 4th of July weekend!

This week on the blog I shared a delicious grilled spatchcock chicken with cola BBQ sauce that we can’t get enough of. I also posted a bright summer stone fruit salad with basil vinaigrette, fresh summer salmon tacos, and a festive triple berry trifle with raspberry sauce — perfect for holiday entertaining.

There’s a new Summer Fridays roundup, a fresh weekly menu to simplify your dinners, and a peek into a week in the life on the blog as well.

My June favorites are up, too — lots of seasonal finds and things I’m loving this month.

You can order a copy of Everyday Dinners now. If you have the book, consider joining the Everyday Dinners Cookbook Club on Facebook. The club has been going strong since The Pretty Dish launched in 2018 and it’s a fun place to share what you’ve made. I’m loving seeing your creations on Instagram and in the cookbook club.

Have a wonderful one!

I made shrimp pizza — crispy shrimp atop a thin, cheesy crust. The result is all crunch and flavor. Sometimes my meals are delightfully random: pretzels for breakfast, jelly beans for dinner, and very few vegetables. Today it’s shrimp pizza, and it’s worth the detour. Last night I polished off a can of roasted chickpeas … Read more
