Really trying to enjoy these last hot weeks of summer!
EATING
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen my weekly green bean salad — I make it at least once a week. Lately I’m also obsessed with a Greek orzo salad, and for dinners I keep coming back to toasted gnocchi tossed in herb brown butter. For a weekend snack, salted honey lavender nuts are addictive, and for dessert I’m loving pistachio peach caramel crumble.
DRINKING
I found incredible fresh figs last week, so I’ve been drinking a brown sugar fig bubbly that’s seriously delicious and perfect for warm evenings.
GRILLING
I’m still living for grilled fruit — especially peaches. Grilled peaches topped with lavender-honey ricotta are an easy, elegant weekend treat.
MAKING
I go through phases with English muffins, and right now I’m deep in one. That makes me crave blue cheese–stuffed portobello burgers served on English muffin buns. A package of Wolferman’s sourdough English muffins changed my life; when I can’t order those, the Vermont Bread Company whole wheat English muffins from the grocery store are my go-to substitute.
BAKING
This week I made a classic batch of rice krispie treats — super vanilla-forward, marshmallowy, and pure nostalgia. If you want something baked, try almond butter roasted banana bread for a cozy weekend bake.
LISTENING
We put together a new workout playlist this week, and I also keep last year’s playlist handy when I need double the motivation for a sweat session.
READING
I’ve been waiting all summer to start Things You Save in a Fire. I’m excited to finally dive into it — it’s been on my reading list for weeks.
WEARING
I can’t get over flare jeans making a comeback — they’ve been a wardrobe highlight for me. I’ve been checking options from J.Crew and Good American; being shorter means I try on a few pairs to find the right length and fit, but I’m loving the renewed flare silhouette.
SHOPPING
I was surprised to get a 20% off Sephora coupon in the mail this week — definitely planning to put it to use. I need to restock favorites like a retro cream, try a tinted moisturizer skin perfector, and pick up Good Genes for my skin routine.
LOVING
I’m excited about Target’s anniversary collection — a fun concept even if I probably won’t stay up to snag pieces the minute it launches. It’s a playful drop worth checking out if you enjoy seasonal collaborations.
PLANNING
I’ve planned most of my work for the rest of the year, leaving room for new ideas and changes. Before I had Emilia I worked far ahead and loved the freedom it gave me; now, with kids and the school calendar, having a roadmap reduces stress and helps me balance commitments. Plans change, of course, but having that outline keeps things manageable.
SHARING
I posted a new video showing how I make pizza supreme on a cauliflower crust — this recipe is one of my favorites. The video walks through the method step by step and makes the process easy to follow.

Have a fun weekend and enjoy the last stretch of summer!
