Hello, summer Fridays! Here’s what I’m loving this weekend.
EATING
Zucchini farro salad with lemon vinaigrette — bright, herb-filled, and perfect for warm weather. Also, chipotle BBQ chicken served with creamed grilled corn for a smoky, juicy main. And I can never get enough tomato toasts; they’re a forever favorite.
DRINKING
Iced raspberry lattes in the morning to start the day light and fruity, and rosé sangria in the evening to unwind.
MAKING
Ramen noodle crunch salad for snacking and casual lunches — a refreshed take on the classic crunchy salad, with great texture and simple, bold flavors.
BAKING
Caramelized peach and lavender scones — tender, floral, and slightly sweet. Perfect with a cup of coffee or tea.
CRAVING
Zucchini lasagna bolognese with spicy basil breadcrumbs. Rich, layered, and all the comforting lasagna flavors with a lighter twist — absolute heaven.
GRILLING
Prosciutto-wrapped peaches are my go-to for a summer salad topper or a salty-sweet bite off the grill.
READING
Jasmine Guillory’s newest, While We Were Dating — such a fun, feel-good read and one of my seasonal favorites.
LISTENING
The Summer Fridays playlist — an upbeat mix that sets the perfect mood for sunny days and slow evenings.
WEARING
A lightweight tie-dye robe — airy and cool for summer lounging. I’ve practically been living in it lately.
SHOPPING
Nordstrom’s anniversary sale — I’ve rounded up my top picks and favorites, focusing on pieces I own and love. A great place to find high-quality, tried-and-true items.
BUYING
Melamine plates and cups by Rice — durable, kid-friendly, and ideal for outdoor entertaining.
LOVING
The Armchair Expert episode with Barack Obama — thoughtful, funny, and full of moments that genuinely made me laugh out loud.
