Here’s a quick recap of April and what’s coming up this month.

The Pretty Dish Book Club has become an incredible community — more than I ever expected. Thousands of photos have been shared across Facebook and Instagram, and it’s been amazing to see everyone cooking from the book.

In April I promised some giveaways for everyone who shared photos on Instagram. This month I’m giving away three of the Cerastone ceramic skillets that many of you ask about.

Here are the random winners from Instagram and email entries:

Ceilidh Smith

Mallory Milluzzi

Haley Ahrens

Congratulations! Winners, please email your mailing address to howsweeteats [at] gmail [dot] com.

To be eligible for next month’s giveaway, post photos on Instagram with the hashtag #prettydishbookclub and you’ll be entered. I’ll pick winners at random.

May Book Club recipes:

Based on a poll in the Facebook group, I added a few more recipes for May since so many people cooked through April’s menu quickly. These selections are seasonal and meant to inspire weeknight dinners, holiday menus, and special treats.

Blueberry Hibiscus Mint Juleps

These recipes are a guide — the Facebook group is full of members sharing everything they make from the book, so feel free to pick and choose. I chose these dishes to reflect spring and early summer: salmon for an easy weeknight dinner, asparagus as a seasonal side, burgers for Memorial Day, a strawberry tart for Mother’s Day (or the Kentucky Derby), and mint juleps for Derby celebrations. The spinach pasta is a fun spring challenge.

I can’t wait to see what you create.
