I have to thank you — yesterday was one of the best days of my life because of you.
Hearing from so many of you who received The Pretty Dish, especially those who were tracking their Amazon delivery, was amazing.
Last night we hosted a launch party at Floor 2 and it was such a joyful celebration. When my first book came out I was doing signings in Florida; this time I wanted to be home, surrounded by friends and readers. I usually share moments like this on my crumbs page, but I had to post it here because you were a big part of making the night special.
We kicked things off with a signature cocktail — rosé all day. It’s a playful mix of tequila and rosé, which felt exactly right for the evening.
The spread was cocktail-and-snacks perfection: mini smash burgers, oyster tartines (OMG), oxtail empanadas with green goddess dressing, caramelized onion, goat cheese and bacon flatbread, and of course a big cheese and charcuterie board. I didn’t take a ton of photos because I wanted to be in the moment, but I did grab a few from Instagram stories to share.
You all have absolutely overwhelmed me with kindness and excitement for The Pretty Dish. Seeing the #theprettydish posts and the photos of recipes you’ve already made has been the sweetest gift. I love every photo and message — your support means everything.
