Easter is almost here, and while this year will feel different, I’m determined to make it delicious. Welcome to my 2020 Easter menu ideas!

I’ll admit I’m disappointed we won’t be celebrating with extended family, but many of you have asked what to make for Easter Sunday now that large gatherings aren’t happening. I still plan to make something special, so I put together a variety of menus below for inspiration: several full-day plans plus brunch and dinner options. In our house, we’re leaning toward brunch!
And if you’re wondering why there’s no ham on these menus — it’s simply not my favorite. I make up for it with plenty of pork and bacon elsewhere.

FULL DAY EASTER MENU

I live for these carrot cake cinnamon rolls — they make the whole day. You can prep them the night before and bake in the morning. Use any dyed eggs in the salad.

This breakfast and lunch can be swapped as needed. Finish the day with my mom’s chicken marsala for a cozy dinner.

Veggies at breakfast, creamy artichoke soup for lunch, and roasted salmon with twice-baked potatoes for dinner — simple and satisfying.

EASTER BRUNCH MENU

These espresso-rubbed sliders with vanilla bacon are fun and delicious — they’re the highlight of the meal. Consider making extra vanilla bacon for snacking.

I love a good quiche — don’t stress about exact ingredients; use what you have. Serve with the best asparagus ever.
Strawberry citrus punch (halve the recipe if desired)
Burst tomato prosciutto quiche
Bacon-wrapped caramelized sesame asparagus
Chocolate peanut butter Peeps skillet s’mores

This lighter menu centers on a large spring Niçoise salad that can be served in different ways. Homemade garlic butter naan pairs nicely.

EASTER DINNER MENUS

Comfort food night: lasagna or roll-ups, a green salad, roasted broccoli, and garlic bread make a cozy, satisfying meal.
Lasagna Bolognese or French onion chicken lasagna roll-ups
House salad
Parmesan roasted broccoli

Making homemade ricotta gnocchi with asparagus pesto is a fun project. It doesn’t need many sides, but bacon-roasted carrots are a delicious accompaniment.

This is a bigger, classic meal. Potatoes can be prepped ahead and reheated before serving. The roasted chicken makes great leftovers, and the cobb salad can be customized with whatever you love.

These shrimp salad rolls evoke summer, so they felt right for the list. White clam sauce pizza is also incredible and can be made with canned clams. Serve with a bright kale salad.

And finally — every celebration deserves a sweet finish: Peeps skillet s’mores are the perfect ending.
