Happy weekend!
It’s going to be freezing here again — maybe even snow — so my plans to be outside are probably out. I’d also hoped to try Millie’s, which might be postponed, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Most of my time this weekend will be spent finalizing a few brunchshop details and getting things set up. I’m also in a major mood to refresh my spring wardrobe. Tell me: what should I buy? What’s trending right now?
Have a fabulous weekend and tell me your plans below.
P.S. If you’re into conversations about blogging and creative passion, you can listen to my podcast appearance on the Chopped podcast where I talk about maintaining blogging passion.
Also, I posted a 15-month update on Max last week — how is he already a toddler?
Faves this week:
Wow — these hand-painted macarons are stunning. Truly mind-blowing.
Lobster bisque fondue — yes, really. Amazing idea.
The quest for the best chocolate chip cookie is such a brilliant project — gorgeous and inspiring.
I’m losing my mind over a DIY faux flower coat. So fun and wearable-art-worthy.
How to make an ombre cake using a vanilla cake recipe — it’s gorgeous and so pretty for celebrations.
High-maintenance egg salad sandwich — indulgent and worth trying.
The cutest peanut butter and banana mini pies — mini means we can have more than one.
Roasted carrots with mozzarella — the kind of lunch I want right now, even though I’m not usually a carrot person.
Five-minute piña colada fudge — charming, quick, and seasonal.
Someone please deliver me a shaved asparagus and prosciutto pizza. Thank you very much.
I’ve wanted a coconut oil brownie recipe forever — these healthier flourless fudge brownies look perfect.
Craving a slow cooker pork and black bean stew — cozy and full of flavor.
