My September kale salad remains a top favorite. It blends late-summer and early-fall produce—hello, apples—and balances flavor and texture perfectly.

I set up a hot dog bar for an unofficial summer send-off. It’s a fun, customizable way to celebrate the end of the season—what are your favorite toppings?
BAKING
Oatmeal-baked apples with maple brown butter and toasted hazelnuts. I may have mentioned how much I love apple season—because I do.
