Happy summer Friday! Here’s what I’m into this weekend.
EATING
I’m loving my 15 minute watermelon Greek salad — a bright, refreshing option for hot days. I’ve also been making my hot chicken salad and a grilled chicken cherry kale salad when I want something a bit heartier.
DRINKING
For drinks, fresh mint iced coffee is a must right now. I’ve also been reaching for a tequila grapefruit soda when I want something light and a little tart.
MAKING
I made double chocolate zucchini muffins recently and they’re an easy, delicious bake that feels a little indulgent while sneaking in veg.
BAKING
Peach cobbler granola has been on repeat — it’s crunchy and full of warm summer flavor. I also baked my sour cream banana bread just before vacation; it’s consistently comforting and moist.
GRILLING
Chili lime chicken tacos are a favorite for grilling season. I also love making garlic butter grilled breadsticks alongside them — simple to prep and absolutely delicious fresh off the grill.
SNACKING
My hot honey chili crunch dip is perfect for snacking, especially with pretzel crisps. It’s sweet, spicy and addictive.
CRAVING
Strawberry shortcake trifle has been on my mind — light layers of cake, berries and vanilla pudding make for a dreamy summer dessert.
READING
I’ve queued up Sounds Like Love and I’m working through a big summer reading list I put together — lots of easy, beach-ready picks.
LISTENING
My perfect beach vibes playlist has been the soundtrack to relaxing pool days and long drives.
WEARING
I’ve been living in a Calia hi-waist sarong skirt that’s stretchy, comfortable and effortless for the beach. I also reach for my 9Seed Tulum dress cover-ups — they’re durable, colorful and perfect for slipping on over a suit.
BUYING
Before our vacation I grabbed a pair of kids’ goggles that work great — they seal flat against the face and keep water out reliably.
SHOPPING
My Sephora cart currently includes Fenty Body Lava, an ultra-violet lip sunscreen, the YSL Candy Glow lavender lip balm and the One/Size Glass Setting Spray — little beauty treats I’m excited to try.
LOVING
I’m into a stainless steel snacklebox right now if you prefer to avoid plastic. For an all-plastic option, the USA-themed one is cute and fun for kids.
