In the best possible way.

Just look at that frosted glass and cinnamon-sugar rim — cozy and festive. Why is this the best season ever?

I’ve been hit with all the holiday feels earlier than usual this year — the magic of the season has arrived and I’m loving it. With Thanksgiving coming up and the house still leaning toward harvest decor rather than full-on holiday lights, I wanted to squeeze in one more fall cocktail. My pear obsession continues…

I wanted something with warmth and spice while keeping the classic margarita profile. A splash of lime, a touch of orange, gold tequila, and my go-to liqueur, Grand Marnier, kept this familiar. The honey-vanilla syrup brings gentle sweetness and aroma. I used pear nectar here, but pear cider or blended ripe pear would work beautifully. The coarse raw sugar rim with cinnamon adds a satisfying crunch and extra fall flair.

Thinking about Thanksgiving drinks — what will you make? I’m tempted to keep it simple and go with an old favorite like apple cider sangria. Apple cider margaritas are tempting too, and we recently shot a video for a cranberry chai sangria that’s fantastic, as well as a pomegranate-orange punch and a cider-beer sangria. Honestly, choosing is the hard part.

Maybe the solution is to gather friends here and make several pitchers — sangria, margaritas, and punch — and enjoy them all.

If a margarita could look cozy, this one definitely does.
