Spicy Hot Honey Chili Crunch Dip Recipe for Parties

This hot honey chili crunch dip is an ideal make-ahead snack. Chilled, creamy, and tangy, it combines hot honey, sharp cheddar, lime, chili crunch and cilantro for a flavor-packed dip perfect for pretzels, crackers, crudités and more. Easy to prepare and even better after chilling.

It’s a weekend made for cheese.

Super Bowl weekend or any gathering calls for a crowd-pleasing dip like this. Cheesy, creamy, with a touch of heat and a fluffy, spreadable texture, it works as a dip, a spread, or even tucked into a grilled cheese.

This will be a hit at your game-day spread.

This recipe highlights some of my favorite ingredients: hot honey, chili crunch, sharp cheddar, green onions and cilantro. It’s bold and simple—lots of flavor without fuss.

It’s an excellent make-ahead appetizer. The flavors meld and improve if you prepare it the night before or the morning of your event.

Serve it piled into the center of a snack board with crackers, pretzels, chips, or raw vegetables—virtually anything tastes great with it.

In the photos I’m serving it with red pepper cheddar crackers. The heat level is approachable; if you don’t love intense spice, this should still be enjoyable. If you prefer more kick, simply add extra hot honey or chili crunch to taste.

This chilled dip has a texture similar to pimento cheese or a refrigerated queso—creamy yet slightly mousse-like. It clings nicely to pretzel sticks, crackers and raw vegetables.

The level of heat depends on the brands you use. I often use Mike’s hot honey and Fly By Jing chili crunch; adjust quantities to suit your preference. A little goes a long way, but you can always add more if you like extra spice.

Mix the ingredients, chill for a couple of hours (or overnight), and you’ll have a flavorful dip that’s ready to serve. Chilling helps the texture set and deepens the flavor.
