Happy summer Friday! What are your plans for the weekend?
EATING
I’m all about corn, peach, and tomato salads right now — they’re light, sweet, and perfect for warm evenings. I’m also making my BLT chopped salad and riding the marinated tomato BLT train. For something heartier, I love my one‑pot garlic butter shrimp and orzo; it’s easy and satisfying.
DRINKING
My go‑to is sparkling rosé Pimm’s cups for a bright, refreshing cocktail. Also debating if it’s too early for pumpkin cream cold brew — purely hypothetical, of course.
MAKING
I’ve been making lemon parmesan cauliflower gnocchi a lot lately. It’s quick — literally about 15 minutes — and full of flavor.
BAKING
Caramelized peach and lavender scones are a longtime favorite. They’re a lovely summer bake when peaches are at their peak.
CRAVING
I’ve been craving caramelized onion dip — perfect for weekend happy hour with friends or family.
READING
I’m starting We Are The Brennans today. What are you reading at the moment? I always love book recommendations.
LISTENING
My “summer kitchen” playlist has been on repeat. It’s the soundtrack for cooking, cleaning, and slow afternoons.
WEARING
I’ve been living in a waffle towel wrap lately — it’s ridiculous but so comfy — and practically wearing nap dresses nonstop. They’ve become my uniform this summer: lightweight, easy for breastfeeding, and they wash well. The quality has been great, and they’ve been ideal for 90‑degree days.
SHOPPING
I may be early, but I can’t stop browsing matching fall and holiday pajamas. I’ve been looking around Burt’s Bees sleepwear — it’s cozy and nostalgic, and I keep adding sets to my cart.
PREPPING
I made morning and evening routine checklists for my kids and put them in a dry‑erase folder. Yes, I am officially that person, but it’s already helping our days run smoother.
BUYING
I’m obsessed with a weekend market tote — it’s one of those things I want purely for aesthetic reasons. It looks like something a Nancy Meyers main character would carry, even if I’m not walking to a market every day.
LOVING
Speaking of bags: a canvas tote I picked up at a recent sale has been fantastic. It’s large, structured, and great for keeping work items and my planner organized. I’ve also been using a foldable errand bag that packs flat — perfect for travel, groceries, and quick trips.
GIVING
Today is the last day to enter our GreenPan giveaway on Instagram — don’t miss it if you’ve been meaning to enter.
SHARING
On a more serious note, consider supporting organizations that help women in conflict zones. Even small donations and sharing resources can make a difference for those facing war and displacement.
