Let’s talk Peeps s’mores—yes, really.

Imagine taking your leftover Easter candy, piling it into a skillet with chocolate chips and peanut butter, popping it under the broiler, and calling it dessert. Pull up a chair and grab a graham cracker.
Why this works: it’s fast—under ten minutes—it’s decadent (chocolate + peanut butter), and it’s a fun way to use Peeps.
I was planning to share a show-stopping deviled egg, but I had to postpone it for this neon, nostalgic treat. (Come back tomorrow for that fancy deviled egg.)
How to make Skillet Peeps S’mores:

This is probably one of the messiest yet most satisfying things I’ve made. But it’s ridiculously simple, rich, and visually electric—think 80s/90s neon s’more vibes.

Skillet s’mores had a moment years ago and I missed it—big mistake. Once you try Peeps in a skillet, you’ll see what I mean.
I was missing out.
After all, who wouldn’t want Peeps s’mores straight from a hot skillet?

I didn’t grow up in a Peeps household—no one in my family liked them. I used to actively dislike the sugar-coated chicks and bunnies. Eventually my youngest brother acquired a taste for them and they crept onto our radar.

PEEPS are marshmallows.
It sounds obvious now, but realizing Peeps are essentially marshmallows changed everything. I still don’t love straight-up store-bought marshmallows, but in baked or melted forms—s’mores, brownies, cookies, frosting—they’re irresistible.
And s’mores are my weakness. So instead of popping a Peep on its own, I’ll happily sandwich neon marshmallows between graham crackers with melted chocolate and a generous smear of peanut butter.

Yes—neon s’mores. Hot pink, purple, teal—these are the most playful s’mores you’ll ever make.
A quick note about the peanut butter I used: it was white chocolate coconut peanut butter, which pairs brilliantly with chocolate and Peeps. Use whatever peanut butter you like—regular creamy works great—but the white chocolate coconut version elevates the treat if you can find it.

Chocolate Peanut Butter PEEPS Skillet S’mores
6 (more or less depending on your sweet tooth)
10
Ingredients
- 3 cups chocolate chips (mix dark and milk if desired)
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 packages of PEEPS marshmallows use more if you want extra color
- graham crackers for serving
Instructions
-
Place the chocolate chips in a 9-inch oven-safe skillet in an even layer. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter on top of the chocolate chips. Cover the surface with Peeps—pack them in so they fill the skillet (about 25 Peeps).
-
Set your oven to BROIL (high). Place the skillet under the broiler for 1–2 minutes, watching carefully, until the marshmallows are golden and the chocolate is melting. If the chocolate isn’t melting easily, switch the oven to 350°F and let the skillet sit a few minutes until everything softens. Serve immediately—careful, it’s hot—and dip with graham crackers.
