Hi everyone! We made it to the weekend — woohoo! It’s been a busy, wonderful week here. On Thursday night we went to meet Elin Hilderbrand, which was such a thrill, and yesterday we took Max to see Cars 3. He absolutely loved it. The weekend is fairly full, but it’s also my cousin’s birthday, so there’s plenty of fun planned. What are you up to?
P.S. I posted Max’s 2.5 year update last week and I’ll be sharing our favorites soon.
Things I’m loving this week:
White truffle pizza topped with french fries — I want nothing else forever.
Prosciutto-wrapped cantaloupe with a balsamic glaze — simple and perfect.
Honey mustard chicken wings — yes, please.
An early summer harvest salad that’s fresh, bright, and beautiful.
Apricot gin and tonics — summery and refreshing.
Compound butters — I use them all summer long.
A cardamom pistachio cake that sounds delightful, and the writing that accompanies it is wonderful.
A tater tot breakfast bowl that surprised me with how good it sounds.
An intriguing honey-and-hearth cocktail that’s begging to be tried.
Rhubarb short ribs — a combination that’s totally mind-blowing.
A pretzel strawberry ice cream pie — classic and fun.
Almond sesame soba noodles — light and full of flavor.
Lemon poppy seed waffles — bright and cheery for weekend mornings.
Cozy chocolate chip cookies — a timeless favorite.
Five recipes to try this weekend — it’s summer!

Summer Crostini with Whipped Garlic Goat Cheese — a perfect starter for warm evenings.

Summer Breakfast Tacos — bright, savory, and ideal for a relaxed weekend brunch.

Grilled Watermelon Caprese Salads — a refreshing take on a classic for hot days.

Milk Chocolate Fudge Goat Cheese Ice Cream — rich, unexpected, and decadent.

Grilled Sourdough with Heirlooms and Herbs — simple grilled bread topped with ripe tomatoes, herbs, and a drizzle of honey for a perfect summer bite.
Have a fabulous weekend! xoxo
