I don’t have many words for this dessert. Chocolate cobbler? Yes, please.

I’ve always loved cobblers, but discovering a chocolate version felt like a revelation. It’s rich, decadent and exactly what I want when I’m craving something comforting and chocolaty.
At first I pictured chunks of chocolate tucked into a traditional cobbler dough. Instead, this is full-on chocolate throughout—ooey, gooey and fudgy in the best possible way.

I couldn’t help myself and sampled most of it straight from the dish. It’s amazing warm with cold vanilla ice cream, but it also stands on its own.
Beyond the flavor, this cobbler is incredibly simple and quick to make. The texture is a delightful mix of brownie-like batter and airy cake, with a chewy, moist center.

After baking the cobbler needs a short resting time to set, but once it’s ready each spoonful practically melts on your tongue. Topped with vanilla ice cream it’s irresistible.

This dessert is indulgent—rich and satisfying. It’s perfect for finishing a light dinner, celebrating a special occasion, or simply treating yourself.
Here’s the recipe so you can make it at home.
