It’s hard to believe this is the sixth month of The Pretty Dish Book Club. I’m thrilled by how many of you are cooking through the book and sharing your results. Some of you are nearly finished—how amazing is that?
Most of our book club conversation happens on Instagram and in our private Facebook community. If you haven’t joined yet, pick up your copy of the book and request to join the Facebook group. On Instagram, tag your photos with #theprettydish so we can see and feature your creations.
These recipes are perfect for the transition from summer to autumn—sweet corn, ripe peaches, apples and cider. It’s one of my favorite times of year.

These are the recipes we’ll be making together all month long.
I can’t wait for you to try them. The apple croissant panzanella is outstanding, the apple cider pulled pork is comfort food at its best, and the spicy peach corn salsa and sweet potato corn fritters are ideal for late-summer produce. If you’d like a little self-care project, the pumpkin chai sugar scrub is simple to make and smells incredible.
These recipes are intended as a guide for our month of cooking—feel free to adapt them however you like. In the Facebook group, members regularly share variations, tips for dairy-free or gluten-free substitutions, and other helpful notes. It’s been wonderful to see so many of you experimenting and sharing feedback.
