Welcome to summer Fridays! We’re almost at the finish line and I can’t believe it. Here’s what I’m up to this week.
MAKING
I still have plenty of peaches, and top of the list is a ginger peach galette with a toasted almond crust. It’s always a crowd-pleaser and perfect for late-summer fruit.
SIPPING
Honeycrisps are showing up and I’m thrilled—they’re my favorite apple. Their flavor is unbeatable. I’m planning to make maple honeycrisp margaritas and, of course, an apple cider sangria. Can’t wait to sip on those.
EATING
I’m getting in the mood for warm breakfasts, even if it’s only for a minute. These oatmeal baked apples are coming soon—leftovers are fantastic. I’m also excited about an oatmeal latte and have a new version to share. While you’re at it this weekend, make a big batch of baked oatmeal—it’s basically oatmeal cake and perfect for sharing.
READING
I finished All Your Perfects in one night and stayed up late because I couldn’t put it down. Colleen Hoover has a way of pulling you into a story. This week I started a YA novel, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, because I want to watch the Netflix adaptation. Have you read or seen it?
WEARING
Two pieces I’m wearing non-stop: a utility jacket I picked up at an anniversary sale, which has been great for rainy days and chilly indoor AC, and a few favorite Free People tops that I practically live in.
BUYING
A Sephora sale for VIB Rouge members has started. I haven’t shopped there much this year because I prefer stores with better rewards, but I’ll pick up a few Drunk Elephant items since those are Sephora-exclusive. If you’re shopping the sale, I’ve shared my favorite Sephora picks in the past.
LOVING
I’m obsessed with bronze mosaic pumpkins I spotted in a store. They gave me instant fall vibes and I’m tempted to start decorating next weekend. I’ll still enjoy summer activities—swimming and rosé through mid-September—but a few cozy touches at home sound nice.
LISTENING
I love a good dinnertime playlist. It takes me back to weekend evenings and family dinners. There’s one mix I could put on repeat and it always sets the right mood.

Wrapping up the weekend with a classic. xoxo
