Currently Crushing On: Trending Celeb Crushes and Who’s Hot Now

Hey hey! I took a week off my favorite links while we were in NYC and missed a lot of internet goodness. I’m absolutely smitten with this season — the crisp air, the crunchy leaves, pumpkins everywhere (sprinkle with cinnamon and burn a vanilla candle!), and yes, homemade pumpkin creamer for coffee. I’m trying to resist buying more Halloween candy, but it’s a losing battle.

Yesterday I shared a video on Facebook of my favorite autumn sangria — a refreshed take on my original apple cider sangria. If you follow along on Facebook, make sure you’re seeing posts by liking and sharing, since Facebook doesn’t always show everything in feeds these days.

Last week I contributed lemon lavender cupcakes to The Pioneer Woman’s site. They’re light, floral, and perfect for fall gatherings.

So what are you doing this weekend? What are you eating? What are you wearing? (Asking in the least creepy way possible.)

Internet finds this week:

  • These adorable pumpkin lanterns — such a fun, crafty project to decorate your porch or mantel.
  • Homemade candied pecan pumpkin ice cream drumsticks — I don’t even know how to handle how amazing these look.
  • Caramelized onion and roasted garlic pasta — simple, savory, and totally craveable.
  • Pumpkin chocolate crumb cake — a dream dessert for chilly mornings with coffee.
  • An honest, thoughtful post from my friend Andie about body image and life: “I’ll do it as soon as I lose weight.” It’s worth a read for perspective and encouragement.
  • Mini fried pizzas — I mentioned them on Instagram and this tutorial shows exactly how to make them.
  • Super-stuffed chipotle sweet potatoes — these are definitely making it into the regular rotation.
  • Sticky toffee pancakes — how have I never had these? Asking for a friend (and myself).
  • Flaky, buttery biscuit BLT sliders — cute, indulgent, and perfect for parties.
  • Salted caramel doughnuts with Skor bits — please let’s make these immediately.
  • Thai braised Brussels sprouts — every side dish I want right now seems to include Brussels sprouts prepared this way.
  • Pumpkin spice bubble tea with boba — yes, please. Someone make this happen.

That’s the roundup for this week — cozy recipes, crafty projects, and a few honest reads. If you try any of these, tell me what you think. Happy autumn and happy cooking!
