Currently Crushing On: What’s Capturing My Attention Now

I can’t believe Easter weekend is already here!

On the blog this week I shared an amazing grilled asparagus Caesar salad — it’s seriously delicious — and another sneak peek from the new book with crispy smashed chili sweet potatoes. I also posted a spring-ready main: prosciutto-wrapped, asparagus-stuffed chicken served with scallion smashed potatoes, plus savory sun-dried tomato herb scones topped with caramelized sugar. All of these recipes are easy to love and perfect for the season.

I also rounded up everything I read in March, so if you’re looking for new book recommendations, check out that list.

There’s a new weekly menu post to help plan meals and a “week in the life” post that gives a behind-the-scenes look at what we were up to lately.

If you haven’t preordered my newest book, Everyday Dinners, now’s a great time. Preorders come with a free bonus cookbook, and the book is full of weeknight dinner ideas — many ready in under 30 minutes — along with a 10-minute meal prep strategy for each dish and tons of tips to make weeknights easier and more enjoyable. It would mean so much if you ordered; there’s also a limited-time option to get a signed copy if you want something special.

Have a wonderful weekend! xo

What I’m loving this week

Craving fudgy brownie cookies — they look impossible to resist.

Lemon loaf with lavender mascarpone — such a lovely pairing.

Totally need that deviled egg dip in my life right now.

That cherry blossom bundt cake is stunning and seasonal perfection.

There’s a coconut cheesecake calling my name for spring dessert plans.

If you’re planning a special dinner, a perfect rack of lamb tutorial is just the thing.

Comfort food alert: a chickpea and lentil curry that’s hearty and satisfying.

Thinking about trying hot cross buns this year — never made them before, but they seem worth it.

The most striking cake roll I’ve seen — beautiful and creative.

Marinated tempeh tacos are on my radar — I love tempeh for a flavorful plant-based option.

For a leisurely weekend breakfast, a lemony Dutch baby with lemon curd sounds ideal.

Samoas-style coconut chocolate cream pie — yes, please.

Roasted Mexican zucchini sounds like a vibrant and simple side dish.

Rhubarb and raspberry cream cheese breakfast tarts are such a delightful spring treat.

Crispy garlic shrimp is an easy, crave-worthy option when you want something quick and flavorful.
