I’ve been bursting to share this news for a long time. In perhaps the most thrilling project I’ve ever taken on, I created exclusive recipes for Elin Hilderbrand’s newest novel, Here’s To Us, which is released today.
This opportunity feels incredibly special to me — right up there with publishing my own novel someday.
If you’ve followed my work over the past seven years, you know I’m a huge fan of Elin’s storytelling. Her books are my go-to reads; I usually finish a summer novel in a day or two and then count the days until the next one. Her decision to publish a winter novel expanded the reasons I look forward to the second half of the year even more.
When Elin invited me to develop recipes for her summer 2016 book, I was over the moon. Her stories have accompanied me through a pivotal decade of life, and I feel a close connection to the characters and settings she creates. For me, great books are a form of escape and companionship — characters become friends and authors become lasting inspirations.
I’m thrilled to have contributed to a project that blends two things I love most: food and storytelling.
