Create a Responsive Slider Bar for Your Website

This slider bar is sponsored by St Pierre. I’m excited to partner with them this summer to share delicious, easy entertaining ideas.

A slider bar is my kind of gathering — bacon and cheese, ripe summer tomatoes, crisp lettuce and a variety of condiments all set out so everyone can build their perfect bite.

A slider bar means small burgers, big flavor, and the freedom to pick and choose. It’s casual, customizable and perfect for summer.

I’m happy to feature St Pierre Brioche Buns and their Brioche Slider Rolls — we’ve used them for years at home. The rolls are light, slightly sweet and have a buttery finish that makes every sandwich feel special.

We adore these rolls — the size is perfect for little sandwiches and they elevate an ordinary meal. My kid Max asks for them often; they’re his favorite sandwich base.

St Pierre Brioche Slider Rolls have a fresh-baked taste, a tender crumb and just the right balance of sweet and buttery. They’re ideal for assembling a vibrant slider bar for family or friends.

SO good.

I love entertaining with bars or boards — they’re fun to arrange and let guests personalize their food. In my book there’s a whole chapter on playful bars for gatherings; a slider bar is one of my favorites.

This idea was inspired by my mom’s summer burger plates, where she always served everything on the side: multiple condiments, cheeses, pickles, lettuce, tomato and onion. Presenting toppings makes building a burger feel special and I’m convinced it improves the meal.

Here’s a simple, adaptable slider bar setup. You can keep it classic or theme it — southwest with spicy toppings, loaded with mushrooms and poached eggs, or whatever you love. The point is to offer choices and let everyone build their favorite slider.

It’s up to you!

The best part is how quickly a slider bar comes together and how impressive it looks. Fresh ingredients, colorful toppings and good rolls make a simple weeknight dinner feel like a celebration. Scale it down for family meals or go big for a backyard party.

This is also an easy, festive idea for holiday weekends like Labor Day.

This slider bar is a fun, customizable way to serve burgers — pile on the toppings, veggies and condiments and let guests build their favorites.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef (93% lean recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 package St Pierre Brioche Slider Rolls
  • lettuce leaves
  • sliced tomato
  • sliced onion
  • cooked bacon strips
  • pickled onions
  • sliced jalapeños
  • assorted cheese slices cheddar, swiss, colby jack, pepper jack, havarti
  • condiments ketchup, yellow mustard, mayo, dijon

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to high heat.
  • While the grill heats, prepare the slider ingredients: slice tomatoes, jalapeños and onions, and cook the bacon.
  • Season the ground beef with kosher salt and form into 12 slider-size patties. Grill the sliders directly on the grates for 3–4 minutes per side. Add cheese during the last minute if making cheeseburgers. Aim for an internal temperature of 160°F.
  • Arrange your slider bar: place the St Pierre Brioche Slider Rolls on a board, set condiments in small bowls with spoons, and lay out lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheeses and other toppings. When the patties are done, add them to the board and let everyone build their own sliders. Include any favorite ingredients like guacamole or sautéed mushrooms.
