We’re already halfway through June, and I want to hear what you’re doing to make this summer feel completely and totally amazing. It sounds a little like something Zack Morris would say, but I’m genuinely curious. We’ve been filling our days with chalk art, water play, swimming and homemade popsicles — the kind that sometimes leave colorful stains on our favorite outfits (which is both delightful and a little tragic).
I’m really enjoying this season. We have a fun weekend planned, and the whole week has been lovely. Have you had a chance to read Here’s to Us or try any of the recipes? I’m eager to know what you think.
With the Penguins winning the Stanley Cup last week and the U.S. Open in town, there’s a celebratory energy everywhere. My current mission: find a sprinkle-covered ice cream cone.
What are you up to this weekend? Also, there’s a short video of my favorite cherry tomato zoodle recipe on my Facebook page. I’d love for you to follow along on Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook. xoxo
Internet favorites this week:

Zucchini and chickpea fritters topped with smoked salmon look incredible — light, flavorful and ideal for warm-weather dining.
The weekend calls for a bright island sunrise cocktail — something refreshing to sip outside.
Vegan mint chip nice cream is calling my name. It’s a simple, chilly treat that’s perfect for summer.
Always in the mood for chilaquiles — a classic that’s great for lazy weekends or a lively brunch.
Completely craving a Korean BBQ rice bowl — savory, saucy and satisfying.
On repeat: a “party like it’s your birthday” playlist. It puts a little extra pep in any day, even if it’s not actually your birthday.

Avocado toast with spicy marinated chickpeas and zucchini is a fantastic, protein-packed twist on a breakfast favorite.
One gorgeous California-style bison burger makes me want to fire up the grill this weekend.
And finally, the best brownie — rich, fudgy, and exactly what you need when a sweet fix is required.
