Currently Crushing On: Who I’m Obsessed With Right Now

currently crushing on

Hello hello!

This week I shared one of our favorites: a smoked sausage and potato skillet. I also posted garlic butter orzo with fish baked in parchment, slow-roasted chili crisp sweet potatoes, and a smoked mozzarella and spinach pizza — all recipes that have been on heavy rotation here.

If you missed it, I rounded up my February favorites and everything I read that month, along with a new weekly menu and a peek into a week in our life. It’s been such a fun month of cooking and reading.

My cookbook Everyday Dinners is available now, and it’s currently on a major sale. If you’re thinking gifts, now’s a great time to grab a few copies — I don’t know how long this price will last. Once you’ve got your book, please consider joining the Everyday Dinners Cookbook Club on Facebook. The club has been going strong since The Pretty Dish launched in 2018 and it’s full of wonderful community energy. I love seeing your creations on Instagram and in the cookbook club — there are regular challenges and giveaways, and a new challenge starts next week!

Onto the favorites of this week…

What I’m Loving This Week

Fruity Pebbles rice krispie treats are definitely happening this weekend — a playful, colorful twist on a classic treat.

Roasted garlic labneh looks incredible and is at the top of my list for an easy, flavorful spread or dip.

I’m planning to try Albondigas soup soon; it sounds comforting and full of flavor.

Right now I’m craving a bright and zesty key lime pie — perfect for spring.

Lemon poppyseed doughnuts are calling my name. They look irresistible.

Lemon curd–stuffed cookies are another citrusy treat I need to bake immediately.

Spicy Italian meatballs are always a win and a great weeknight option.

I adore baked garlic Parmesan potato wedges — they’re the ultimate savory side.

A grapefruit olive oil cake sounds light, fragrant, and perfect for afternoons with tea.

Rigatoni with chicken sausage and crispy breadcrumbs is on my must-cook list for a comforting pasta night.

Slow-cooker chicken stew is ideal for lazy days when you want something hearty with minimal effort.

I always love a winter vegetable minestrone; it’s a reliable way to use up seasonal vegetables and get cozy bowls of soup.

And Watercolor St. Patrick’s Day cookies — these decorated cookies are stunning and feel like a fun, creative baking project.

Thanks for reading — I hope you find something here to make this week delicious.
