Hey hey summer!

All month long I’ll be sharing a series of summer cocktails. This ginger beer shandy is one of my favorites: it combines beer, bright citrus, and spicy ginger beer, finished with a crystallized ginger rim for a sweet, gingery crunch.
The shandy is crisp and refreshing with just a touch of heat. It’s delightful on its own, but it also plays beautifully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a spoonful of lemon sorbet for an indulgent float.

The sugared ginger rim adds a playful texture and extra burst of flavor—simple to make and worth the extra step. If you prefer, skip the rim and let the ginger beer and citrus shine through.

If you want the exact recipe, it’s available from the original source. Every Thursday this month there will be a new cocktail recipe to try—cheers to summer sipping!
