Say hello to my all-time favorite drink.

It’s true — this might even top margaritas for me.

I wait all year for eggnog lattes. Seriously — all year.
Oddly, I don’t love plain eggnog. I’ll sip a bit around the holidays, but the latte version changed everything. It’s the best of both worlds: cozy and rich without being as heavy as a full glass of eggnog.

Also — whenever I see eggnog or even hear the word, I immediately think of Cousin Eddie in Christmas Vacation, sloppily ladling that thick eggnog into a glass while wearing his holiday sweater. It’s my automatic mental image. I watch that movie several times each year, and the season officially begins now.
Merry Kalikimaka!

The true turning point for me was discovering the iced eggnog latte. Yes—iced. Even in freezing weather, I almost always order iced coffee. I’m not much for hot drinks unless there’s something like bourbon or Baileys involved, but iced coffee feels cleaner and more refreshing to me.

My first iced eggnog latte was a dream — I even shared it on Instagram — and of course I tried it after Christmas, because I am always late to the party. But wow: that creamy swirl, the bright espresso, the touch of nutmeg — it felt like the most festive coffee I’ve ever had.

It’s simple to make, tastes like the holidays, and is quick to prepare. If you love seasonal drinks, give this one a try — you’ve got the holiday month to enjoy it.
