Loaded Chicken Wing Dip with Beer-Caramelized Onions

This wing dip is sponsored by ALDI. I’m excited to be working with them to bring you some delicious dishes this year!

It’s dip season, and this loaded wing dip has everything you want for game day: gooey cheese, shredded chicken, three sauces, and beer‑caramelized onions. It’s packed with flavor and perfect for sharing.

This loaded wing dip is full of buffalo wing sauce, BBQ sauce, honey mustard, ranch, blue cheese and tons of cheddar. All the flavors!

This dip combines buffalo, BBQ, honey mustard, ranch and blue cheese into one warm, melty bowl. Add beer‑caramelized onions and you’ve got a seriously indulgent party appetizer. I used ALDI ingredients for the whole spread and loved how easy it was to pull everything together.

For this recipe I cooked Never Any! Fresh Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts from ALDI and shredded them. You can also use leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken—any cooked shredded chicken works great.

About the flavor

If you love buffalo chicken, you’ll be obsessed with this. I’m a longtime buffalo fan, but I also love BBQ. Combining the two, then layering in honey mustard, a touch of smokiness and both ranch and blue cheese, creates a dip that’s richer and more complex than a standard chicken dip. The beer‑caramelized onions—I used Wernesgrüner Pilsner from ALDI—add a sweet, savory depth that takes this over the top.

The spread

Serve the warm dip with a variety of dippers so there’s something for everyone. I like Clancy’s Hint of Lime Tortilla Chips and Savortiz Pita Crackers, plus carrot and celery sticks. Around the dip I included a few ready‑to‑serve options from ALDI: Park Street Deli Buffalo Hummus, Jalapeño Lime Hummus, and Avocado Salsa. These are great as extras for the table or for guests who want a lighter option.

The Park Street Deli Buffalo Hummus delivers that buffalo flavor in an easy snack, and the Jalapeño Lime Hummus is bright with a gentle kick—fantastic on chips, wraps or sandwiches. The Avocado Salsa is fresh and works well with chips or as a topping.

I also included Park Street Deli wings for the spread. They come ready to heat and serve—perfect bite‑size additions to round out the table.
