Happy weekend! I’m so relieved it’s finally here after a long week. How was yours? I have to ask: are you making anything for the Super Bowl, and if so, what will you serve? This week my friend Nicole launched her Blissful Bites podcast, and my interview is available there from Monday.

If you need ideas: here’s a video showing how I make my 30-minute buffalo chicken French breads — it’s basically buffalo chicken dip served on toast. For more game-day inspiration, I shared my bacon goat cheese guacamole and a homemade queso with chorizo over on The Pioneer Woman this week.

I’m heading out to dive into the weekend, but first, some favorites I’ve been loving lately:

Have you tried these paleo chocolate chunk cookies? They’re honestly the best — I made them twice this week. We don’t eat strictly paleo, but these come together in one bowl with no mixer and are ridiculously good.

These pizza cookies are exactly my kind of thing — so clever and fun.

I’m craving this Market Street clam chowder after seeing those photos. It looks incredible.

Gina’s post about meal planning for breakfasts, lunches, and snacks is smart and practical — she put together a week’s worth of meals for about $60.

Roasted grapefruit margaritas with smoked sea salt — yes please. They sound and look amazing.

Such a fun idea: a famous besties and couples matching memory game. It’s a sweet printable activity.

Moroccan Vegetable Stew Recipe: Hearty Vegan Tagine with Spices

Something unexpected happened: I’ve started to enjoy certain vegetables—when they’re roasted or pan-charred until their sugars caramelize and they’re generously salted. As my partner says, “Anything tastes like a french fry if you salt it enough,” and he’s not entirely wrong. These are strange converts for me: Brussels sprouts, green beans and kale. I don’t … Read more
