Today we’re making a chilled apple cider punch that tastes like fall in a glass!

I admit it: I have an apple cider obsession. It’s hard not to—cider works so beautifully in cocktails and can be served hot or cold, which makes it perfect for every kind of fall gathering.
Over the years I’ve developed several cider cocktails, and this season I have a handful you’ll love. One of my favorites is a punch that blends apple cider with Aperol, pomegranate soda and bubbly prosecco. It’s bright, slightly tart, and effervescent—the kind of drink you want to sip on while the air turns crisp.

In summer I mostly reach for chilled rosé, white wine or spritzes, but in the fall I crave sangrias, punches and warm spices. This apple cider punch channels those cozy autumn flavors while still feeling light and festive.

Please tell me yes.
This punch is one of those recipes worth buying an extra bottle for because you’ll want to use the ingredients again and again. Aperol adds a lovely bitter-sweet note that pairs surprisingly well with apple cider, while pomegranate soda gives a pop of tart fruitiness and prosecco brings the bubbles.

This is a keeper. It’s flavorful, easy to make, and works well for hosting: you can make it ahead and transport it to a tailgate or party. If the bubbles settle a bit in transit it still tastes fantastic.

One tip: if you have extra cider, freeze it in popsicle molds and serve alongside the punch for a fun, seasonal touch.
