Strawberry Cashew Smoothie Recipe for Creamy, Dairy-Free Bliss

The best-sounding drink right now? Strawberry cashew smoothies. Hello, pink drink.

Refreshing, cold, and icy — perfect any time you want a bright, fruity treat.

This smoothie is surprisingly simple and wonderfully creamy. The color is vivid pink and inviting, and it tastes even better than it looks.

One thing: there’s no banana in this recipe. Many readers ask for banana-free smoothies that still have a milkshake-like texture, whether due to allergy or preference. This one delivers that creamy mouthfeel without any banana flavor.

The secret to the silky texture is frozen cauliflower. It sounds odd, but frozen cauliflower is essentially flavorless and gives smoothies a thick, velvety body. I also use soaked cashews and cashew milk — they add richness and a silky finish. If you prefer, coconut milk is another excellent option for extra creaminess.

Hemp seeds are another addition that helps thicken the drink and give it a slightly ice-cream-like texture without changing the strawberry flavor. The result is a bright, true strawberry smoothie with just the right creaminess.

For topping, a light sprinkle of bee pollen adds a pleasant crunch. A drizzle of honey or a dollop of whipped cream would also be delicious — this really does taste like a dessert in a glass.

Strawberries are the star here. If you love pure, classic strawberry flavor, this drink will be right up your alley.

For glassware, I often use reusable glass straws for a nicer sipping experience.
