Ugh, 2020.
It was nothing like we expected. Even now, parts of it still feel unreal. I’m not sorry to see the year end, but it left a mark that’s hard to shake.
The bright side was the unexpected hours I got to spend with my little loves. It sounds clichéd, but life truly slowed down for us. Often I felt like I wasn’t achieving much, but I already know I’ll look back on these quiet days at home with gratitude. In fact, I already do.
Thank you for visiting this space every day. I work hard to keep this site personal and genuine for you. I don’t want it to read like a soulless, SEO-driven food site where the author disappears. It means so much that you stop by, try my recipes, and chat with me. I hope this continues for years and that 2021 brings many brighter days.
xoxoxo
P.S. Most of the photos here come from my “week in the life” posts, where I chronicled our days and weeks throughout the year. It was such a fun project that I plan to start again this Sunday — I love looking back on these moments.
