Hello! How are you doing? It’s the weekend, and I’m relieved—Eddie was traveling last week, so I’m more tired than usual. Big respect to single parents who handle everything on their own. Tonight I’m planning to sleep deeply after the usual ritual of scrolling through Instagram and playing on my phone for far longer than I should.
Last night I binge-watched Fuller House—every episode—with a margarita in hand. I should probably watch it again sober before forming a definitive opinion, but for now I’ll admit I’m still crushing on Uncle Jesse. What what.
Also, check out my February beauty favorites—some great finds you might like.
Here are the internet goodies I’m loving this week:
Whoa—this reverse-seared steak with garlic herb butter is stunning. The photos alone make me hungry.
I can’t pass up Elvis brownies—banana brownies with peanut butter frosting and crispy bacon? Yes, please.
Pearl sugar pretzel waffles (traditional Liège-style) look incredible—crispy, chewy, and sweet. Sign me up.
Hibiscus-jalapeño quick-pickled veggies are on my must-try list; the flavor combo sounds irresistible.
This Mediterranean five-grain rainbow salad is beautiful and so full of texture and color—perfect for a light, nourishing meal.
Black sesame banana bread has been calling my name—such a lovely, nutty twist on a classic.
No shame in craving pigs in a blanket—comfort food at its finest.
I very much want to dive into a chai tiramisu; the spice profile sounds divine.
This whole-grain olive oil poppy seed loaf with Meyer lemon glaze looks bright and citrusy—ideal for breakfast or tea time.
A chicken, beet, and arugula salad with honey-shallot vinaigrette makes for a lovely, balanced lunch—sweet, peppery, and fresh.
As a sucker for all things banana, a banana layer cake is right up my alley—moist, flavorful, and nostalgic.
Montreal bagels look absolutely divine—chewy on the inside with that perfect crust.
I’m trying to resist baking a huge batch of double chocolate cookies—dangerously tempting.
And finally, is your Oscar ballot printed out? Fingers crossed for Leo.
