Gorgonzola-Stuffed Olives: Elegant Holiday Appetizer Recipe

Many of the appetizers I share are simple and quick, but this one stands out for its elegant ease.

If you missed any of the other appetizer ideas, here are a few favorites:

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Fresh Spinach and Artichoke Dip with Bacon

Baked Brie with Cranberry, Pancetta, and Spiced Pecans

Fruit Salsa

Cinnamon Sugared Roasted Almonds

Firecracker Shrimp

Bruschetta

This recipe is as easy as it is impressive: seasoned, pitted olives stuffed with creamy gorgonzola. The contrast of the salty olive and the tangy, smooth cheese is irresistible and always a crowd-pleaser.

I usually buy a container of seasoned, pitted olives to save time.

After snacking a little (for quality control, of course), I stuff a few olives with crumbled gorgonzola to serve.

These make an elegant appetizer portion — bite-sized, satisfying, and perfect for leaving room for the main course.

Enjoy — and remember to save some for your guests.

Thinking of pairing this with something sweeter? Some of the richer holiday treats may tempt you, so balance and moderation are key.
